I'm sorry, but this book is not nearly as good as you'd think. Ask anyone who actually does real estate or financial investments for a living, and they'll tell you that Robert Kiyosaki is a full of crap.

For one, a lot of his advise are either bad or are outright illegal. (i.e. having friends in high places to get tips on stocks is inside trading)

and the idea that you can NOT pay your creditors or taxes is ludicrous at best. John T. Reed's website has a lot of info on the subject. I recommend anyone who has read Rich Dad, Poor Dad to go read the site before they do anything with Kiyosaki's advise.

First and foremost, I just stumbled upon this site from Yahoo! and found it incredibly informative! I've been trying to gather up a list of things to get involved with (ie. books, tapes, T.V. shows, etc.) to expand my financial knowledge and staywealthy is a great plus.

I'm young, but only getting older, so I was hoping that you could provide some nice books to read, videos to watch, games like Cashflow to play, tapes/recordings to listen to, etc. that could raise my financial awareness.

I reside up in Canada and was looking forward to getting into financial services. As funny as it seems, I had heard of options from a newspaper ad and seen some of your successful trades. As of late, I was thinking about real estate too. However, I'm not sure where to start for that as their aren't really specific majors to get into for that particular field.

Anyway, maybe you could reply in an e-mail. I was trying to look around for yours, but couldn't find one. I figured I'd post in this entry since Rich Dad, Poor Dad was one of the reasons I wanted to get myself more in tuned with my future.

Thanks and keep up the great blogging,
