I’ve enjoyed reading your options trading blog this weekend and wanted to check in to see what options trading system and education materials you used to gain your knowledge. I’ve been researching the best approach to learning – with an initial goal of paper trading for 3-6 months while I learn.

Hello K Dykes,

Thanks for the wonderful feedback. I’m using Star Trading System at Masters ”o” Equity. But before this, I read up on Stephen Cooper’s books “Online Option Trader” and “Writing covered calls” (can’t recall the name, it was just for fun reading). Besides that, I attended a lot of free previews for option trading seminars (sales pitch mostly, but you can learn a few things there).

I also read up on candlesticks. Books by Steve Nison and Stephen Bigalow are pretty good. I especially like Nison’s book, it’s more simplified and easier to understand.

Wanted to ask someone who is already using it before i went ahead and purchased this system. Is really as wonderful a tool as its been marketed?

Hi Mutahir,

Yes, it has worked for me. Recently, I’ve had a few losses, but not all trading systems can guarantee a 100% win. Overall, I’m still profiting at the moment, you can see from my monthly trades journal.
