If a person blindly choose a stocks it's a gamble but if a person choose the stocks because he/she is knows everything about investing in stock market I beleive thats a smart move. We can compare it to crossing a street. If a person try to cross the street blindfolded, mostlikely, he will be bumped by a car or he will bump other people who cross it. and that's what you called gamble.. but if a person knows how to cross the street and he knows if he's blindfolded he'll not do it..
